How to find out what my undeveloped domains are worth?
Hi,
I hope I am posting this in the right area. I bought 10 domains and didn't end up doing anything with them. They expire soon and I want to know if they are worth renewing and possibly developing into wp based affiliate sites. So, my question is, how do I find out what my undeveloped domains are worth, without paying for a professional appraisal ? Some things to note are that they are all .com and several of them have a double hyphen -- between two high ranking keywords, for example: dog--treats.com (not my domain, just an example). Honestly, I bought them before I knew any better, I am pretty new to all of this. Are domains with a double hyphen -- basically worthless? Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Google treat, for example: carwax.com and car--wax.com the same way ? Nonetheless, the impression that I have gotten when reading about registering domains with even one let alone two hyphens has not been overwhelmingly positive. I would appreciate any information and opinions regarding all of this. Thanks, Fred
