"In order to apply coupons to your cart, Honey needs access to your data on websites, tabs and browsing activity. However...
Honey is free with no registration.
No adware. No spyware. No malware.
No personal information required or used
."

In other words, this extension is acting as spyware in the background, or am I interpreting that wrong? Huh

^^You are definitely interpreting that wrong. Its standard for ANY extension or plugin you install. It needs to be able to access the data and your browser tabs from godaddy to be able to INPUT the codes into the code spot, click the redeem button and see if its valid. It even says no spyware/malware in the popup.

This isnt a Rinky dink extension, this was featured on CNBC, moneymag, Lifehacker and Business insider. Its clean and legit
Thanks for the clarification mikemountry... hey you can't be too careful, had to ask. BTW, if anyone needs a quick 99 cent .com coupon code for GoDaddy the manual way, here is one I just used successfully (good for US and Canada only): FBTGT9

RE:
Ended up using it today to get the $9.99 private registration fee on an existing domain of mine down to $6.71.

Not bad considering there are no coupons to reduce the fees on an existing domains private registration addon.

I think it ended up applying a 34% off coupon code, which is the best that godaddys offering right now, so this extension is saving me a ton of money.

Bought 3 more domains today....

Used this extension....all 3 domains were .99 cents, $1.27 total after icann fees.

3 domains for under $4, you cant go wrong.

Wondering, has anyone tried this on any other sites? Like amazon or newegg?
