RE:
I didn't add a description (well just a one sentence description) which is key to your app ranking,(I put this app up while creating the videos) I was going to go back and do it but honestly I forgot until now, the apps do take about 60 days to gain some ground, this one has only been up for about 2 weeks, you can see some other apps in the same account that have a few thousand downloads. like the Mike Vick you can find here.

RE:
Greetings everyone, I'm still kinda a NOOBIE here, but am getting the courage to jump in and just say WTF! Here is my first review, and hope everyone likes it.
I've been watching the mobile apps marketplace for quite a while, and was always scared off by the need to CODE. I'm a CODE-A-Phobe, and have tried several times to learn anything from VB to Scripting, and just can't get the hang of it. This product claims to not require coding, and that's TRUE! (at least that's what the training videos say) It does require some html editing to redirect to your graphics and other stuff, but that's not too difficult if you have some tech skills (and is not hard to learn). The things I LIKE ABOUT creatingyourownapps (the 'system') is that it's cross platform capable, and it has an AWESOME library of templates. They include three pro sports template systems for tracking players, and then there are the SeattleClouds Templates, which are as follows: ChristmasApp VideoChannels AutoRenewableMagazine NewsMagazine RadioApp Wildlife MembershipAreas jQueryMobile MagazineStore Pizzeria LaTerrasse Taxicab Sports Parquet Fashion MyWedding MemoGame Trivia SocialNetwork CarDealership TravelGuide iPadBookStore iPhoneBookStore CelebrityNews 4TabApp ValentinesDay BlankTemplate Directory BlankiPadTemplate iPadNewspaper CoffeeShops BookStore Winter CompanyApp Restaurant iBlog HealthAndFitness PortfolioPlus PhotoPortfolio BusinessApp MobileSiteSamples WebKit Portfolio RealEstateAgent FanPages RssReader SmallBusiness RestaurantAndBar iPadQuiz Quiz If you do a template comparison with the 'other systems', you will find a few templates that not included in CYOA but ARE in Seattle Clouds. I didn't see that as a major issue, as there are other templates that can be modified to fit the need. Now if someone is more familiar with Seattle Clouds than I am, and know more about these templates, please chime in, and correct me on this. These are the templates NOT included in this system: PublicEvent MobileOrdering GreenLeafs XCuisine MyBusiness MobileAppBlank Here are the features included in this system that can be added to applications: Sync Push Notifications In-App Purchases RSS Feed Reader App Share PDF Editor Newsstand Login Page Image Overlays Search Application Content GPS and Directions Image Mosaic Your Blog in Your App Share on FB: YT: Twitter Button Style Menu Near Me Locations Menu Items Calculator Page GPS Coupon - QR Codes PhoneGap View 360 Customizable Greeting Cards Native PDF and ePub Reader HTML 5 and CSS 3 Image View Galleries 3D Modeling Dictionary WebKit Menu Web Feedback Form Bump Ticket Technology SMS Messaging Custom Tabs for Audio: Radio: News: Social: Contacts: Calendar Monetization methods include: Admob: RevMob: iAd Integration Google Analytics eCommerce POS - Visa/AE/Maestro/MC/Discover Add In-App Purchases Payment Methods - PayPal/Authorize.Net/Google Checkout/Clickbank/2CO/PayPal Pro The things I don't like include: 1. Pricing structure APPEARS misleading at first. Then after looking it over, comparing apples to apples, and NOT oranges, THIS IS QUITE A DEAL! The OP has a link for a $27 a month offer, which is less than if you bought from your own AFFILIATE Link (which is strictly verbotten in most affy programs). The price shown on the 'Plans and Pricing' menu is $67 a month. I did get into this for $27 a month, and that's NOT a one month special price, at least from what I've seen. 2. The BBHF Offer has a 10 day money back guarantee IF NO APPS are made. That's fair enough, he's set the ground rules up front, and I can live with that. I think I can get a good idea about this system from building Android Apps, but if you want to build iPhone/iPad apps, you need to join Apple's Developer Network and get a cert from them, to publish to their marketplace. That process can take from a few days to a few weeks, depending on Apple. Azon also has their own process to sell apps in their store, and you have to comply with that process, but Kindle is a supported platform and that is a good thing. In the spirit of fairness, I did find a slightly different 'Money Back Guarantee' on the website. It says 14 days 'no questions asked' refund, with the ability to keep apps selling in the Appstores. Yes, that is a different policy, but I'd rather have the $27/month fee, rather than a $67/month fee. You decide if that's a deal breaker for you. IT WASN'T for me. They do have an affiliate program, paying 50% commissions. I think that's a pretty good deal, and considering they have the server side support costs, and other overhead, they deserve to make a fair profit, as this is America, and that's the American way. Capitalism, gotta love it!! I didn't see a supported device list on the systems' website, but since it's a Seattle Clouds clone, I'd presume they have the same supported device list. Here is the list from Seattle Clouds website: Supported devices - APPLE (iOS): - iPhone 3GS with iOS 5.0 or higher - iPod touch with iOS 5.0 or higher - iPad (all generations) with iOS 5.0 or higher - iPad Mini - iPhone 4, 4S - iPhone 5, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C Supported devices - Android / Kindle Fire: - Android 2.2 (Froyo) - Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) - Android 3 (Honeycomb) - Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) - Android 4.1-4.2 (Jelly Bean) Supported Mobile Browsers: - Apple Safari iOS 3.2*-6.1 - Android 2.1-2.3 - Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) - Android 4.0 (ICS) - Windows Phone 7.5-7.8 - Blackberry 6-10 - Blackberry Playbook (1.0-2.0) - Palm WebOS (1.4-3.0) - Firefox Mobile 18 - Chrome for Android 18 - Kindle 3, Fire, and Fire HD So for me the pricing was my BOTTOM LINE. The BBHF Special of $27/mo trumps the $67/mo pricing from their website, and $147/mo for the unlimited plan on SeattleClouds.com. Seattle Clouds DOES have a while label publisher plan for $600/mo, but I don't think we could muster 22 BBHF members to MAINTAIN a GB of this plan. I like what I saw, I bought into it, and became an affiliate. If you see something on their public website that entices you to join there, instead of through JiggaJones link, here is my affiliate link for your review: BigDaddio's Affiliate Link. So that's my first review. I hope I was thorough enough for everyone, and not too thorough for JiggaJones. Enjoy and REP me if you like it. Best regards, and have a HAPPY and a MERRY, BigDaddio |
