Getting your (free) piece of Pi...

This message is here in hopes to help other good members to avoid being misinformed about Pi.

There is a BBHF member who is virtually jumping up and down trying to get other BBHF folks excited and to use his referral link - and as such is posting lots of salesy and misleading hype about it.

Here is some info that may help you to avoid surprises from Pi:

- I joined early on and have been mining ever since as a 'Pioneer member';
- I have in excess of 20,000 Pi after years of using their app;
- They began yakking about their Yoti KYC a while back and when the invite came it was used and fulfilled with some difficulties;
- They then supposedly quit using Yoti and made their own KYC via their own browser;
- The invite to re-do KYC has been coming to me AGAIN - EVERY DAY, for months;
- It goes to the KYC page, which then fails to work;
- They TOTALLY ignore support requests;
- All their stuff has gotten slower and slower to respond.

It is irritating as it is mostly a time waster thus far - and since I have it running 24/7 on a spare device their crappy s/w doesn't matter very much.

I'll continue to poke it daily to keep it mining as long as it can - but I hold little hope towards any business, company or group that has ZERO working support options for their users, and lastly=>
Pi has ZERO trade value.

Hence I am not placing my referal link anyplace and cannot really say that they are doing any sort of great things - EXCEPT...

These folks are super at congratulating themselves whilst ignoring their user's frustrations 100% !!!

Yes.
Until it becomes OPENLY useful (rather like BC and some others) it has ZERO actual value.

It also has a 'team' behind it that is so busy patting themselves and each other's backs that they totally ignore genuine support requests politely requesting assistance with their app and their dysfunctional KYC.

Rymvoice you are an inactive member here with all of 16 posts TOTAL and ZERO threads made since 10-15-2020 - and=>
As is quite fitting, you have gotten ZERO gifts of rep as of today's visible stats.
(Which places you somewhere between being a lurker, leecher or spammer with ZERO offers of anything valuable here to claim as your own.)

As to your snark-o-gram aimed directly and personally at me (numbering added for this reply) :

By the numbers:

1 - Sure - and so it will remain for quite a while as long as their app is laggy and their KYC is non-functional - with zero attention given to fixing either problem;

2 - The very notion of trusting someone who merely shows up to make a spammy, snarky, scolding reply here is quite sad and pathetic;

3 - 'Bad' is relative - so think what you will.
I have lived and succeeded in a highly technical occupation for 20+ years whilst being known for my brutally honest, blunt and direct approach - which had me getting more referrals for new clients than I could keep up with in a quality manner - leading to a wait list every so often.

Now that I have made myself retired, I freely give of my time and efforts here at BBHF with many shares of helpful things as I am able to find them.
This is more of a recreational thing for me than it is any effort to MMO, because I enjoy visiting and contributing here - simple as that.

Tell yourself whatever sort of 'good guy' you wish to be known as, BUT:
Just like the other shills and board spammers who like to show up here - I personally now very politely invite you to go and be a 'good guy' someplace else rather than scolding your elders about their life choices.

You and I will NEVER get any closer than this as I have zero desire to associate in any way with someone who presents themselves in such a presumptuous and pretentious manner.
