After fully going through the course... I have changed my tune a bit. I can actually see how some of these methods might be able to be twisted and used in a positive way (with a lot of tweaking and probably a bit of cost for trial and error). It is just a matter of figuring out what will catch the eye and the attention of the average Gmail user (hint) and then showing them what they want! Very interesting concepts indeed! Then, of course, it is about dealing with the usual Adwords crap that makes you jump through hurdles in order to keep your ads online and running, etc. Maybe the upsells include some info on that... I don't know. In any case, I am giving a thanks now to the OP and leaving some +5 manna for you...

thanks ! .... I noticed another course using this similar Gmail Ads strategy months ago, this aint new at all as the sales page claimed.
