Funny.... I am not making a comment on the course, but the sales page...
One of the top things a sales page is supposed to do is GRAB your attention... Sometimes, ugly is good because it is a pattern interrupt. It forces you to stop, read, and then stay on the page to say... "Dan this page is ugly".... So in effect, you are bitten by the bug and he has gotten your attention. Right now, here we are having this big discussion about how ugly the page is. More people are going over to it to have a look... Then even people are saying the training is NOT GOOD, how many are asking for the download anyway.....
Again, he caught your attention and that is exactly what a page is supposed to do... Slick pages are a lot of work and many of them these days look like other slick pages.... Be honest, do you read all of the stuff they say on those pages? How many of them do you remember the next day? Will you remember this page tomorrow?  Cheers, G.S.
