I have tested on localhost and it works like boss.

401 only popups when you have given wrong path to domain from where you are running it

make it correct and it will work

you need to give two redirect urls as per video.

make sure your google console project have all the api enabled and project is running.

I have installed it on localhost

so my domain was

http://localhost/yt/


and my redirects are

http://localhost/yt/index.php/openid/google
http://localhost/yt/index.php/youtube_accounts

scorpio thank you, I was able to resolve the issue with Oauth client error.

After I 'Allow' permissions from Google it comes back to h tp://my domain.com/index.php/youtube_accounts but it will not let me +add new accounts. It just goes back to ...accounts.google.com/o/oauth2/auth?..

maybe contact the developer?

Don't worry mate. I'm never short on giving reps. I have already asked him and suggested something. He is fine with it. Users who just take tools without showing appreciation should worry about that message. If they continue this they will kill the spirit in future.
