windows 7 seems to lead to too many problems .. i recommend windows xp vmware or standalone ... WAC when running properly is the BEST :)

@d00min00, thanks for the share, just following up ur request for more info on problems, im running xp and followed all instructions, tried a restart as well.. but still getting same error saying 'server error' when trying to login, did u do anything else to get it to work?
the version i downloaded was from their site (as linked in OP) and is version 2.3.0.0 (installer), 2.3.0.0 app with modified date june 19 2012 11:25:38AM |

ok i tested it now on a virtaul maschine with Windows xp.
Now the thing is i got an different error as before: Now after i type the login Detals in WAc Press Login and few seconds later a windows is Popping up with the Text: "Server Error" Dont know but it seems now its another reason?! D00mino any idea what todo?! |

@TMB Sorry to hear that it is acting up for you. I can't think of anything useful other then:
1. Make sure have access to the internet from WINXP under VMWARE/WHATEVER ... FIREWALL PROB?? 2. Make sure your Running Windows XP SP3 FULL UPDATES 2012 AVOID WINXP x64 use X32 3. Make sure ALL VERSIONS of .NET FRAMEWORK are installed with FULL UPDATES (they got 2?) 3.5 and 4?? POST LINKS THAT SAVED ME once? 4. If you INSTALL/ UNINSTALL CLEAN REG WITH TOOL? to wipe ALL Traces? UNINSTALL TOOL / REG CLEAN Go and download : Revo Uninstaller Free Version http://download.cnet.com/Revo-Uninstalle...87648.html If anyone has any better ideas of what to try next i would really enjoy hearing them! I got it installed and launched without any problems on Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit. However I'm not sure about the actual functionality since I tried to just put "dog training" into the keyword field and pushed the Download button and nothing happened after I wait a while. Mouse cursor turns into the busy mode, but nothing happens. Is that normal? Although spinner seems to be working fine, the rest I haven't checked out yet. |
