Would not entrust ANY type of local / server install with a trojan patch, regardless of whose it is! The pro version is only $125 and if you are serious about any time of deployment or development, you can get that back with one client sale! Buy and be on the safe side, with your money / client sites / WP network installs :-)

WAMP isn't that hard. just need to write down a step-by-step procedure to make sure you don't miss anything. especially when it only needs to be installed once per machine, there's no need to play risky tricks with it. I can think of use cases for stuff like WP Twin that clones web sites by the dozens though.
