RE:
Hi,
Thanks for your reply and comment ;-) I know what you mean because i have been there myself. What you have to do, always and every single time is THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX. Finding long tail keywords is not easy but after a while you get the hang of it. I'll give you an example: Just today i was working on a youtube campaign to promote a music production software located here: Code: http://www.btvsolo.com/ On my search for long tail untapped keywords this was my "thinking pattern": "Music Production Software" (high competition, possible to rank but will cost a lot of effort and money) so i moved on and started thinking like a person looking for this software. What would i want? I want THE BEST software so next keyword "Best Music Production Software" (medium competition, possible to rank but would still cost a lot of effort and money). Move on... i am probably into some kind of music, not music in general. I want to make music and want the best software for it but i want it for MY MUSIC so next keyword "Best Music Production Software For Hıp Hop" for example and that's it. I just found an untapped keyword, not many intittle and the first youtube video on Google page 1 has zero backlinks. So if i make a video and go for the keyword "Best Music Production Software For Hıp Hop" you will be at page one, probably even position one without any effort or for very low effort. See where i am going at? Ok, this keyword doesn't have a lot of searches BUT it is VERY targetted, will convert very good (if the offer you are promoting is good) and i can find 50 long tail untapped keywords like that in one hour. Imagine uploading a video for just 25 keywords like that? You would own Google for every long tail untapped keyword for your offer and make some descent cash for about 4 hours of work. The BIGGEST misstake most people do is just look at Google Keyword Planner and try to find untapped keywords from it. Why? We all have a brain, use it! Try to imagine what YOU would be searching for if YOU are the person looking for information about your topic or niche. Also VERY important is that you believe in the product you promote. Take for example the product i am promoting in this campaign. I have watched the demo video (a few of them) on the affiliate page. Now i started thinking like a person who wants to make music... man, this thing rocks. It makes cool songs very easy! I would be able to make songs on the fly with this thing with just my computer because i have just seen a great example of a guy doing it in the demo video. And the software has a lot of features that i could use. And all that for just $40? I'm game! Again i put myself in the shoes of somebody looking for software to start making music using his pc... and this software is awesome for it. The price is right so i support this product in every way. NEVER try to pormote a product you don't believe in, it won't work and you'll be having a very hard time finding good keywords because your just not interested in it. Hope this helps. WoW you could sell an e-book from just this post. Now you have my head crunching all these new ideas on how to finally go after affiliate programs. I have always wanted to, but did not have a clue until now. Thanks a ton!!!
