Though in regards to the developer and his products, after the initial sales frenzy he typically drops all support efforts and works on the next product. He makes many claims of his security prowess, however but in action seems to be more of a hack; IMO of course.

This product may be useful right now, I just don't believe two months from now you'll see any updates (and you will need them) and find it difficult to support him. Because I take my my sites' security serious, I'd rather INVEST in plugins from 'those other companies' on version 3.x or version 5.x because they continue to make efforts to improve security and understand the importance of loyal customers. Again IMO. Let's see in 6 months how right or wrong this observation is. I'd be happy to eat crow but don't think I will.

Your thoughts?

Enough negativity. Everyone have an awesome day and night! -brick

Thanks for your thoughts on this, am wondering what 'those other companies' you speak of as WP security is a BIG issue for many of us.
Thanks again AntonVS, Fire2000 and everybody else that contributed to this discussion!!

Id like to hear what these other plugins are...I take my sites security very serious after a massive hack...I bought this last year and still use it and it is always updated, just contacted the creator to ask if I get free updates or if I have to buy the same thing again...

I use Wordfence and a couple of the "other" mainstream security plugins.

I find it difficult to believe that these mainstream plugin companies that make their living with their security plugin would not be aware of "major vulnerabilities" as Site Guardian claims. These major players invest a lot of money into R&D.

Thanks for making this plugin available to try and for those that provided their experience with the plugin and author. I think I will stick to the Big Boys for now. Plus I have comments disabled on most of my sites.

You think? Lets take WPMUdev and Ithemes for example. They simply clone or buy out existing plugings, and for the most part, make them worse.

Ithemes security pro or Better WP Security, wich they bought, had lots of vulnerabilities, others need to help them because they cant code well themselves.

iThemes Patches Vulnerability that Affects All Versions of the iThemes Security Plugin

XSS vulnerability in iThemes Security (formerly Better WP Security) 5.6.1

That said, I wouldn't pay a penny for this fuckers garbage either. 1 minute into scan and allready 4 verified XSS instances.

RE: [GET] WP Site Guardian
Interesting, would love to see what they are doing in the code, looks like all the mirrors are down, If its good code, I don't mind buying it, but most people have no real understanding of how to protect a PHP based product to begin with, so Im skeptical, don't care if its nulled or not, just would like to see the code.
