Any one any solution or OP, can you please reupload just the base folder of the plugin?

Same error. Just unzip it in ur hard drive and than upload the folder to wp-content\plugins and it`s working

just unrar it, and create a zip out of the js_composer folder... just use winrar create a zip, compression method set to store... works fine

wordpress does not permit uploads of rar files for plugins, so if you ever see a rar file that is uspposedly a plugin, check to see if there is a .zip file inside of the rar file,and upload that. If not, simply unrar, and rezip and upload the zip file

my friend, there's a folder inside and you convert to zip.

I followed the instruction. zip the folder and tried to upload. gives me 404 error. help please

Just an update to share with you guys. I hope you will find it useful. I deleted my entire wordpress site (was v new site) and deleted all the sql databases and reinstalled wordpress.
Then I uploaded .zip file of thrive old version 1.79 and activated. then a message box appeared to activate the license and I hit the link and its activated saying " your thrive is activated. enjoy ;) " and then i updated the plugin and its working just fine :)
