I don't think I followed the instructions to the letter... I know I did. I know how to use the hosts file, I use it all the time. The lines were added. I copied the CheckAuth.php file to the xampp\htdocs installation folder. The xampp and videomakerfx both installed successfully and both run properly. But I still get "The user name or password is incorrect" error.

Copy folder (License) to the xampp\htdocs. not copy CheckAuth.php

There is no folder (License). From the instructions "Copy/paste or drop the enclosed file CheckAuth.php into the C:\xampp\htdocs installation folder". I know how to read.

Well if you "KNOW" that you followed the instructions you ALSO "know" that there is no CheckAuth.php file with this share!

I would suggest you go to the OP of THIS share and download the CORRECT files and WATCH the step by step video and FOLLOW the step by step instructions and it will WORK for you just as it has worked for the other 500+ members that are using it!
