A note on the fix/crack.
If you have a Synology Diskstation, you can switch on "Web Station" and "virtual hosts" and host the CheckAuth.php script in a virtual host. Then just point your Host file to the Diskstation. Saves installing XAMPP apache service. Other fileservers might have the same facility. |
