RE:
This has been a great thread to read. I have been tossing around this idea for a while. Although I do have a few twists I will add to my personal listings.

I know this will work since, I have been on Ebay on and off and it has worked before. Before I get to my twist I would like to say my renewed interest in ebay came from a friend of mine. He has no clue about the power of internet, but came to me with his grandmothers sewing machine. This thing was over 50 years old and poor old granny no longer needed it since she passed away. Mind you I live on a very low income and am one of those read everything and take little action. Well long story short he needed 25 bucks so I gladly gave it to him and did a little research on the sewing machine. Took a couple pics and made up a back story. Long story short with 20 mins of work. I made 100 dollars pure profit after all fees and shipping costs.

Now for my 1st twist: Ebay is a huge market to say the least. Most people that put this method into play will simply copy and paste the product from Amazon and put it into EBAY without much thought. I say it is highly important to change the title a bit and also change the description. The title should be a little more of a broad term then an exact product. This will allow you to reach more potential customers and stand out a bit. Also it is very easy to edit an image to give it a little of your own flavor.

2nd twist: Add a little extra value to your product by throwing in a bonus how to ebook or video. Example: If you were selling a guitar, then give them a how to learn guitar guide.

ANyway thanks to OP and Quasar for such a great thread.

I forgot to add the fact the least I will accept is 30% to any product price I find to see if a product will be profitable for me or not. As long as Product price from Amazon or anywhere else you find plus the 30% is lower than the price you find on Ebay you will profit. Hint on finding other sites. Type in a product category into google. Then look at the google products. You will find products you can sell from a completely new source.
