Just to point out something I found in the pdf.
He states he sold three sites on Flippa for $415.
I looked up the domains and they are still in his name. WTF????
He said whoever bought the domains had "host issues".
"I can see now that the current owner has come across host issues and the site has been shut down,
which is unfortunate for him, it has nothing to do with the SEO."

reading the last page of his PDF, he shows that his new site:

is ranking and earning well as of 15 August 2012 but I can't find this site nowhere on the first 10 pages of Google.
I believe this type of what Google called "thin site" doesn't have any chance to rank nowadays after Penguin attack.
