What he is questioning is HOW and WHERE you got it...

Would you pick up food out of the garbage and bring it home to your family? This is what you are doing when you go to the Internet and find a hacker site that shares "w a r e z" ... you are simply picking food out of the garbage... anyone can do that, if they are starving...

What he trusts is the version from the developer that has not been repackaged and distributed from the garbage... and is what he expects his family to bring home!

He trusts in virus checkers, but as you say he knows nothing about callbacks and php code exploits.

If this plugin has code that every time it's installed it grabs your website url and ip and sends it to the author/developer, that is not considered a virus and checkers won't tell you. But you can get a visit/email/cease and desist order from the dev or embarrassed in public with your personal info being shared as some plugin devs are doing....

You say some things about hack,callbacks,... but you don't know about it.
please remove tape on your eyes and be Realistic.
please remove tape on your eyes to recognize difference between food and garbage.

I'm not about to waste my time arguing with script kiddies who don't know their asses from holes in the ground. I say things about callbacks BECAUSE I know something about it, less than some, but a lot more than you. I have removed callbacks from code, I'm familiar with the processes and I know what doesn't look right.

Quit being so defensive, and learn from others that have more experience, and are trying to help you to help the community.
