Did you do step #7 as mentioned below? You may have to change the License back to "Free Edition" before you can make the changes below if SEO Powersuite will not open.

You must open each tool (eg. Ranktracker, SEO Spyglass, Link Assistant, Website Auditor and BuzzBundle) and go to Preferences, Proxy Settings, and check the box that says "Use Proxy" and change the settings as shown below. This is required so the SEO Powersuite tools work with Privoxy.

7. In your tool (eg. ranktracker) go to proxy settings and set as IP: 127.0.0.1 and port is 8118 (standard port which Privoxy runs)

Dear Woodie,

Thanks for point out the right thing which I have missed. I think this is the actual problem and I have not changed it to free edition. But again, I am at the same position because, I do not know how to do it.

When I open the any tool, it simply goes to the Login Screen and says "Invalid Registration key" and have 2 options ( Retry / Quit).

Please help me how to change it to free edition. I shall be grateful to you.

you will have to downgrade the license to free trial (you can do this by removing everything from the login screen and leaving it blank) to be able to login

Once login in, put in new license info by using the keygen

ensure that your privoxy is runing.

I cant update the user.action.. It says access denined or that the file is being used even if the program is closed

To the dude who posted above me, right click on notepad, run as admin, go to installation directory and edit it. You are logged in as std user and that's why you are getting denied error when you edit it...now someone please help me? :)
