To solve about the proxies issue, Open your IE, Tool - Internet Options - Connections - LAN Settings - and Make sure your Proxy Server Option is Unthick. I got this problem too, but I can solve like this.
This doesn't do anything to solve the issue. I have nothing checked in those options anyway, but it's the WAC that will not allow you to enter proxies into it unless you have proxies that use a login/password..... the only way to solve this is for WAC to allow you to use public proxies....... I can't even test the program unless I go buy some proxies.... I usually use Proxy Goblin to find good and even google friendly proxies (which I paid for).
