George Hawk Wrote:This is NOT a great share. It is garbage.
First 30 pages are babbling filler. Then he reveals a landing page fed by facebook.
Hahaha at least a 5 year old concept. Not worth 5 dollars.

optimumgreen Wrote:I'll agree that it IS a simple concept that they're sharing, but not everyone does (or even knows about) the simple things.

Fact is, simple concepts sometimes get overlooked for their simplicity...when in many cases, and markets, it's the simple concepts that produce the best results.

For me, the value in this share was not the funnel itself (facebook ppc to landing page), it is the validation of the simple concept of appealing to people with what they really want packaged in the model of "micro-commitments" or aka setting up a form of a "survey funnel".

Since the typical optin form in exchange for something free is becoming less effective, we as marketers need to consistently come up with ways to build lists and generate leads that produce results. And in many cases it's about going back to basics, which essentially is what this guide does.

They reveal an effective PROCESS for generating targeted leads. A process that can be duplicated in any market.

As long as you get the idea of the process, you're golden.

Facebook does not have to be the only form of traffic...this concept works with any form of traffic and in virtually any market. If there is a form of traffic that costs less, and generates targeted leads than by all means replace it. This guide just shows ONE traffic source that works for them.

So to just focus on the form of traffic that they're using is to miss out a on the main idea, or concept, that makes this PROCESS effective.

And discourages other BBHF members who might otherwise find some value in it, from checking it out.

Just because something is old, does not mean it still can't be effective...ppc is an old concept in itself, but did that stop Facebook from making it a revenue stream for themselves, or Google to continue to generate the majority of its profits from it?

Note: I'm not affiliated with the guys that put out this guide. I just don't want people to be discouraged to at least check it out themselves, and form their own opinions about it (because it's at least worth that...thanks to the OP's generosity).

Michele Wrote:If you do decide to read the pdf, save yourself a
lot of time by just scanning or even skipping the
beginning. Get to the part where he actually
explains what he does.

I didn't see the part of how he goes about selling
the leads, just how he gets them. It may be in the
pdf-- I didn't read the whole thing.

You could lose money if your advertising costs
exceed the money you get for the leads.

I think there are better lead generating courses on BHT.
Stacy Kellams' Peephole Profits was one. I don't recall
the others.

Other Bob Ross courses available on BHT (search for Bob Ross):
1. Power of Print by Amber -- her take on using his 9 x 12 advertising card to make money
2. 9 by 12 Zen Mastery
3. Postcard Fast Profits
4. Print Power
5. Scaredy Cats

I'm sure there is overlap. The basic idea is you get businesses to buy a spot on a card which measure 9 x 12 inches. You then print out 5,000 of the in full color and either mail them or give a bunch to each business to distribute as they please.

linuxboyuk Wrote:This is a great amount of information, but unfortunately seems to be 'top-heavy' on the USA areas only.
Is there anything like this that would be more suitable to the European market, such as instead of using 'Zillow', what would be better for Europe.

Then again what would there be options for Europe instead of using 'Homevalueleads', what is there comparably for Europe?

Anyone knows the answers or has hany ideas on this?

Thanks guys.

Glock Wrote:The concept is simple and works with a variety of lead types. Buy native ads, offer something for free and get a name and email address. He uses the "How Much is Your House Worth" approach. In my area we get direct mail from a half a dozen realtors a month showing this very thing. But, it does work. Want to get leads for retirement planning? No sweat, do a "When Should I Take Social Security" calculator. Home improvement leads? Try giving away free info on doing it yourself or "Replace or Reface Kitchen Cabinets". I could easily go on and on. Of course you need to understand your demographic and know how to put together a decent ad.

Isn't it odd that only a handful of people will actually do anything like this?

ElMazoBlanco Wrote:Hello everyone,

Just wanted to chime in a little here.
Op, thanks for the wonderful share!!

And... besides the great share, what makes this forum awesome is that we share our opinions and learn from each other's experiances.
From George Hawk's comment that this info isn't woth it, to Michelle's review on it and optimumgreen's take on it... it's really here where we see the gold.

Just appreciating the time you've guys spent sharing and then posting your comments and experiences.
I've gotten way more from these tidbits of info than from the curses alone.

Thanks again,
Cheers everyone,
=)

This is a message to all those who don't understand, "Sharing is Caring". If you aren't working to make this a better place (ie having a REP of at least 100) don't ask me for help. Everyone has something on their hard drive they can share. Everyone has the time to offer a review or create a mirror! Thanks
