[GET] The Mystic Grimoire of Mighty Spells and Rituals
[Image: 51fE7Q7BQ0L._SX342_BO1,204,203,200_.jpg]
Quote:Rare are the systems of Magic and Sorcery that actually work and rarer still are the authors who can take such systems and make them easy to understand and utilize. This is one such system presented by Frater Malak.

I obtained a used copy (still have it) from a book seller in Clearwater, FL many years ago. It wasn't until a couple of year later that I started using it. I was in the field of credit/collections and worked an inside phone position. I made the little cardboard talisman using three shiny, new pennies and hung it in my cubicle at work. That month, I hit my goal (went over) which meant I got my bonus. It didn't work for the following two months so I destroyed the talisman and left the pennies at a crossroads. I made a new talisman and hung it up at work in the same place and again, boom! Hit my goal THAT month too!

It includes a number of 'spells' all in a simplified how-to format that actually do work. These are fun and can be adapted for a group, coven or lodge to use. Very simple and easy. Then it also offers full scale rituals with using things like a simple stick of incense, some Magic oil (made with crushed grapes, salt and oil) and other simplified things. (Do not confuse complexity with accuracy or power because the opposite is usually true - simplicity is best!)

One of the nice thing about the 27 rituals is you summon Spirits forth and work with them. The instructions are clear, concise and simple to follow. The Spirits are real and not something just inside your head as they respond to common questions with knowledge you do not know. They can be sent to do things like help you find missing people or items, get a new career, improve one's luck, find a suitable lover, and so on.

Malak gives you the passwords needed to get the assistance of these Spirits which is more accurate than most people know. Many of the old grimoires do not show passwords nor ever talk about them but there are Spirits who require them to speak and interact with the practitioner.

I used a couple of the rituals to help me with finding a new job when I got tired of the collections field. I made the talisman of the Spirit out of white poster board, blessed and consecrated it and then used it. I did the same with the Four Elelemental talismans and the Thaumaturgic Triplet. Just color them using whatever medium you feel happy with - I used colored pencils and they turned out nice. My used copy did NOT come with the talismanic card. No worries! Using the white poster board I made the talismans I needed. Then I laminated them in plastic so they last longer and this has not posed any problems with the Spirits or the workings at all.

Like most other Parker books on Spirits, this book does NOT address how to feed and pay the Spirits for their work. It assumes that the Spirit is going to work for free, always. Wrong. Nothing is free. But not only does this grimoire make that incorrect assumption, so do the old Medieval grimoires too. Thus be careful of asking too much of the Spirit and not giving back in return for services rendered.

It's best to set the terms with the Spirit BEFORE work is done as to what you are willing to give to the Spirit for its services. There are a wide varierty of things one can give and it should not be overlooked.

In closing, I think the book itself is pretty amazing and is right up there with Geoff Gray-Cobb's "New Avatar Power" and Al G. Manning's "Magic of the New Ishtar Power" both of which are well worth while to get and use in conjuction with the Frater Malak book. All three are great modern grimoires for the practitioner to use without the fuss and muss of worrying about things like Planetary Times, Ritual Tools, Robes, Watchtower rituals and so on.

Thanks Nancy857 for the post.

A few things. The description above is from Brother MOLOCH circa 2010. While the review is fairly accurate, I disagree with a few things.

A few things to keep in mind.

Malak was Cobb. In NAP, you don't work with spirits. Cobb created thought forms/servitors/stone gods etc. Not sure about this one, as I don't use it. Some people try to create links with a past that just isn't there.

Don't over complicate things. Do it exactly as Cobb states. Believe me, he knew what he was doing.

Read the book through 3 times. The first time, read EVERY WORD, in the same way as you would read Harry Potter. While Parker made certain demands as to writing style, Cobb structured his books to get to your unconscious.

The case histories are not completely made up. Iv'e found variations in earlier books by well know occultists.

Work from 1 book for a period of 6 months. Do what it says, DO NOT read or do what anyone else says. If you do, you might not get the desired results.

I fairly sure I have BB's tailsman kit. I'll put it up as soon as I track it down. Please download as soon as possible. Even though Cobb's daughter is not listed as the copyright owner, she has these things removed rather quickly.

RE: [GET] The Mystic Grimoire of Mighty Spells and Rituals
I found the kit a bit sooner than I thought I would. Again, a few things.

I am not Tim(Brother ButterBall). These have caused Tim a lot of trouble, and the last I heard, he doesn't really want to be bothered with them.

While Cobb says that you must use the ones from the book, many have said there is no difference. Many say it was just to sell more copies. Much like the current ones who claim to have cursed pirate copies. In both cases, if you believe in the curse, it's real, and, if you believe it's just marketing hype, then you're right.

Please download these ASAP as they will probably be gone shortly.

Talisman kit.

Thanks Nancy interesting share. Repped you.

Thanks also to Mking212 for your comments and insights. Also repped you
When you refer to Cobb, do you refer to Malak in this Grimoire or to Cobb in NAP?

Thanks for the reps.

Geoff Gray-Cobb wrote this book under the pen name of Frater Malak. I haven't a clue as to why he did it. To the best of my knowledge, it's the only one not under his real name.

As for the specifics of this book, I went through it once shortly after publication and ended up giving my copy away. I have gone through the pdf several times over the past decade and did some workings, but I am not an expert by any means. NAP is more to my liking. NAP is more of a ceremonial magic without the ceremony. This is more ceremonial work. Some is reworked Golden Dawn other parts I haven't a clue.

One thing I forgot to mention. Cobb wrote 2 NAP books. While the first is ideal for beginners, you shouldn't consider the other until you've used the first for 5-10 years.

I actually shared both of those books a short time ago. A simple search should bring them up. They are both in the same thread.

I didn't know this author was one and the same, so I appreciate you sharing that information.

I put the "review" up because the Amazon listing didn't give any information about the book at all. I don't always agree with reviews I might share, either. :)

Someone said the talisman kit wasn't necessary but I believe I found it yesterday. This may be that kit:
