A review from someone who bought the book...

I was very fortunate to have received an advance copy of The Million-Pound LinkedIn Message days before being publicly released. I started the book and didn’t put it down until I was finished. I took copious notes. As I read it, all I could think about was how and when I was going to use the sample templates in my sales cadences. I was jazzed to start A/B testing them against my own social touch scripts. I knew my sales colleagues were going to thank Daniel Disney profusely for making the social selling process so logical and instructive, because I’ve heard them complain too many times about how their current efforts were not remarkable. What I appreciated most, beyond the resources and how-to’s, was the end-to-end explanation of how LinkedIn fit into the overall sales cycle; how it complements your other channels such as phone and email. This book will turn any sales professional into a social selling rockstar by simply following the lessons, which are conveyed in a very conversational and informative style. The book sits prominently on my bookshelf, with several sections already dog-tagged and whole paragraphs underlined. I’ll admit, my favourite parts are the sample templates. I’m already seeing a notable impact in my social selling outcomes. Buy this book. It’s the best investment you’ll make in yourself, and in hitting your sales quota, this year.
