@internetter: Thank you for the Ge.tt link ... that should help sikandar and others who are having issues with those pesky Zippy re-directs. I have another suggestion for sikandar below but for the short-term, Ge.tt should work just fine.

@sikandar: I feel your pain with Zippyshare but most people want it because (when the links are still alive) they work quickly and simply. But there is that problem with re-directs ... I wrote a post somewhere on the forum about how to avoid it. The quick-and-fast way I recommend is that you download the free version of Malwarebytes. Unless I'm mistaken, I believe it comes standard to run in the background (no special settings needed) so that when a website or web page you land on tries to re-direct you elsewhere or a sneaky pop-under page attempts to hijack your browser, MWB stops it in its tracks and a little popup appears temporarily in your system tray ... just to alert you. It then gives you a moment to manage the notification. If you want to override MWB and allow the site or whatever, you can do that.

I've been running MWB but I love it so much, I purchased a subscription for a year in advance. It has been a life-saver for me. Having just lost an older but completely fine computer to a hard drive crash less than a month ago, I'm very peculiar now with my computer. I now run MWB in addition to my Avast anti-virus program and keep HitmanPro (paid subscription) at the ready, too, because it finds traces of websites that use cookies to track your movements as well as nasty bugs that often mimic safe files and go undetected with run-of-the-mill A-V programs.

IMHO, if you just download the free trial for Malwarebytes and let it run while you're online, you can use Zippy then because it's not really the Zippy download link that is the problem but the re-direct pages where the problems (malware, adware, trojans, etc.) exist.

So what you would do is just ignore MWB and let it stop the offending page but go right ahead and safely click the Zippyshare link to get the download because your browser will not re-direct elsewhere.

I sure hope you get back to this thread and read my message because MWB has been a great help for me. After the trial, however, you will need to buy it (or see if you can find it with a license key on this or another BHF).

It seems some people have problems with the Ge.tt links but overall, I don't get many complaints about them and the links last a lot longer than Zippy ones (without all the suspect re-directs).
