RE: [GET] The Forex Edge: Uncover the Secret Scams and Tricks to Profit in the World's Largest Financial Market
Hi Guys!

I would probably never have believed this if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes.

Several years ago I was invited to invest in a new Forex Brokerage. It would have required a 7-figure investment. Why? Because the way they did it (and most others do it) they had a written business plan whereby at least 90% of all new accounts were "absorbed" within 6-months.

They gave me a live demonstration with another "related" Brokerage already open.

They used some sort of software that had a windows-type interface, buttons to select and windows to change levels-numbers.

Then they shows what looked like a much deeper DOM (depth of market) and those were the client orders sitting there waiting to be filled.

The guy said, "Now watch this." He changed the spread from whatever it was (2-3 pips) to, I think, 10-pips and hit one of the select buttons and BAM! he took out orders above and below price. He left it there for only a few seconds and then changed it back. They were trading against these people and just, basically, stole their money by changing the spread for a few seconds!

That's just one way they do it.

They can manipulate the "data" feed since it's not regulated and can show spikes -- but that leads to suspicion.

They can "delay" execution -- for those dumb enough to trade news -- freezing executions and watching which way it spikes and then parceling out the sells to that group at much different prices and guaranteeing profits for the Broker's trades. Those who guessed the right way either got terrible fills or rejections -- another way they manipulate (rejecting select orders). I guess they could have taken money from customers going both ways.

But I saw enough and wanted no part of it -- but have NEVER traded Forex and have always traded currency futures through the C.M.E. where that isn't possible.

Good Luck!
