I learned this set (and the Luohan Patting Method) from Dr. Xie on his first trip out of China ever in 1996. I was in my late 30s then, young and strong. BTW the second time he came (with He Jinhan*) and we learned the Lion System wherein he taught the dao yin of that walking posture. Dui la and stuff.

Bruce Lee studied an external style and never completed his training. His system (Ip Man Wing Chun) is only a piece of the original system. Modern MMA owes far more to BJJ and Muay Thai than to JKD. This is a qigong set and thus has nothing to do with martial arts.
