update to the Covert Player, Optin
Edition.

Ready for this?

It will be released later today, or
tomorrow at latest.

If you have not picked this up, you
need to fast, because in a couple days
it will be double:

The new upgrade will include:

++ RTMP Live Streaming Support :)

Not only can you do live events, and
viewers can rewind, etc, while it
is live, but if you are using this
feature for just a normal video file,
then it will be RTMP, and not Progressive
download....meaning viewers can fast
forward and rewind instantly. :)

++ Flash Fallback Support :)

Currently, Covert Player is HTML5, and
pretty much supports every browser, and
mobile device.

Use a mp4 and webm for most browsers, and
ogv for some older browsers.

However, if a viewer has a old browser with
no html5 support, then Covert Player will
use the Flash fallback option so they can
see the video as well.

++ Fix for Submit button on optin not looking
good on mobile devices

++ Background ability for ipads at start.

Currently, mobile devices to not autostart with
videos. This option will give you the ability
to have a nice color as first screen with a
play button, instead of a default grey, etc.

++ Ability to add Custom Logo with Generate Code
on 3rd party URLs.

Currently, when you use the Generate code option,
the flowplayer logo shows up. This is fixed, and
now is unbranded. We have also done a ton or
work (took 3 full days for this one thing) so that
you can add your own custom logo on embed code
too.

I checked the most recent download here on bbhf and it does not have the support for rtmp, so I guess that comes a little bit later. I am only guessing that the 3.0 video is what he is talking about, not sure though.

I do know that on his site at least he is using some jquery selectors that are not found in the current download for targeting the embeds and currently we don't have a way of choosing our own jquery selectors, so either 3.0 is different than the new live-optin vs. or the new vs. released today or tomorrow is different. I suppose we will see.

dont upgrade plugin, activation will no longer be any good.

someone needs to fix the upgrade activation for ver 3.1

If you get asked to update and you do it, you will loose the activation, im working on fixing that, so future updates will not require you to enter the license again ok
