Thanks Inquisitor for this share. I very much like your clear step by step instructions approach.
I just downloaded and installed Camtasia 9.0.0. However I find NO "Reginfo.ini" under my Local Disk
(C:)\PROGRAM FILES\TechSmith\Camtasia Studio 9.
What I am missing here?

I dont have the same rep as above metioned user but I too loved what Inquisitor did for us with Camtasia before.

With the work I have seen him put into a community. We are lucky to have him!

In case anyone thinks differently I was in NO WAY complaining, and gave Inquisitor Reps on both threads that I commented on. I was attempting to troubleshoot the issue I ran into. It seems for some reason the Read Only setting on RegInfo was not staying checked. So every time I tried to Produce a video it reset the RegInfo to default and went back to trial version.

For anyone that is having an issue make sure that RegInfo and Hosts are set to Read Only (after you update info) and not resetting itself. Thanks again Inquisitor.

Is it running perfectly now after configuring the reginfo to `read only'?

Once I got that setting to stick it worked fine. Only ran it once after that, but everything work. There was an annoying popup but assume that is normal because it is trying to call home.

This crack isn't working. Sure it works for a day or two or 30; while you're inside of the 30 trial, but set your clock ahead after the end time of the trial, and it zero's out...end.

The reginfo mod and the hosts file cracks are useless..their is far great protection with this new version.
