So is it my understanding that you want to stream pre-recorded videos via hangouts with this software?

Basically a way to rank regular videos as "live" hangout videos instead because they do much better?

This is great, thanks for the share OP. I have been using wirecast to stream to youtube but it has been buggy lately so I'm looking forward to trying this out.

Yeah, that's exactly it! Also doing it with live events as well in YouTube.

Honestly, I've never tried Manycam, but I know for a fact this is better. Since I posted this thread, there have already been a bunch of updates.

I got Video Alpha as well and feel that Wirecast is mediocre at best. Totally agree with you. These open source guys are WAY better. You can learn some serious shyte from these folks too...
