Read through this. Why work so hard to make a buck? That's what I just do not understand. When you live in a shaky house of cards, wind, tremors, hell, even a good breeze from the flapping wings of a bird will make your house collapse. Make the effort once or twice to build a freaking audience and they will follow you everywhere if you are honest and don't burn them. If you need pins repinned they will do whatever you ask as long as you don't burn them. Keep them separate from your audience of easy marks if you must play that way,

I've investigated Pinterest for monetization and it isn't feasible with time and efforts.I got a ton of activity but very, very few buyers. Only what I called Fluffers and Puffers - - window shoppers.

I disagree with that statement completely. Pinterest is certainly monetizable, and it is not that difficult if you approach it right. Pinterest is a visual planning search engine, planning means I'm not ready to buy today. The Pinterest funnel is 3 weeks long. Also, now that Pinterest has more users than Amazon, it is another place to build awareness/engagement with your potential buyer.

If all you do is put up product links expect a little more than not much. Someone in the planning stage doesn't jump up and down over amazon links because they know exactly what is at the end of that rainbow and they are not ready to buy. Even if your end goal is Amazon send them to a landing page(pixel everything) for a relevant value-added freebie, get the opt-in.

On the thankyou page build up your offer by appealing to whatever emotions or resolution is a result of buying the product. Then offer amazon and wherever else you sell at the bottom in a now available on these sites section. retarget bounces with the same content again, retarget mailing list subscribers but no purchase with content that moves them through the funnel. Create a look-a-like list of buyers and target them with the original content, retarget product page bounces with a promo or something.

Thats my experience with Pinterest. Content always drives more traffic than products

Been a pinterest marketer for a few years using Jarvee. I tried this "link-wheel" repin idea maybe 6 months ago. Never got much traffic. Pinterest can see through most spam nowadays.

I won't waste my time with pinterest when I can focus on real buyers traffic. Constantly making those pins and getting on boards and such for what? To have it get buried by a 100 or more similar s. Each to their own and I'll take website/blog with email liist building, yt, twitter.

i am with ya there. including fb. these other courses are fine at first i guess but they just turn in to spammy social networking sites due to how many "gurus" are promoting it for traffic. tik tok now the next big thing which will get faded soon just like ig. these other platforms do have spam but they also have a shit ton of members so the spam isn't as obvious.

it's so basic. a blog, market on yt and twitter and fb, set up a good funnel and list building campaign, and make money.

but i've noticed people don't want to hear that shit because it's nothing new haha. well i would rather do it old school and make money rather than something new and risk failing ANY DAY! and when you are making money with a simple long term system as an internet marketer and/or affiliate marketer, you don't ever have to search for the next shiny object ever again. also, it's a lot easier to scale what is working rather than have something work for you and test other shit where it's a distraction to what is already working.

these ebooks and training videos we download here are fine. sometimes they are good for someone just starting out and some gold nuggets for the intermediate marketer but there is absolutely NO SUBSTITUTE for experience

and if you just stick to a clear and defined marketing routine that is simple and basic as raz pointed out, there is no reason to even work more than 2 hours a day eventually. after a few months to a year, if done right, you're making a full time income and then can focus more on other things you like to do. but if you're one of those who always wants more and more and more and nothing is ever good enough, you're probably never gonna learn one of the most important lessons in life.

internet marketers don't change the world and for most of us, we don't get super rich doing it. but if we can eventually scale to 100k a year, we can retire at an early age and focus on more important things

it's not rocket science and not complicated at all. get back to the basics. stop learning everything under the sun and become an expert at 1 or two things. K.I.S.S. (if you don't know what that means, google it)
