My review: Its an alright method, but nothing new. She gives an email script to use - however, its always better to write in your own words.

Basically, the approach is you find business owners on facebook, look at their website through mobilizer, take a picture of it, then create a quick mockup of a mobile site, take a picture of that, and include both within the email. Nothing groundbreaking, but if you send out enough emails you will start getting responses.

BIG problem with this method is most businesses do NOT understand or appreciate the value of a mobile website, so its a hard sell if you are approaching them on this level, there is a much better way and that is to determine if they're spending money on marketing, otherwise you're wasting time targeting the wrong biz, make sense?

Fair enough, one of them is a similar concept but targeting Adwords advertisers who are paying for ads on mobile devices but don't have there website optimised

and the 2nd is based around a brand new global free unlimited text message service. So basically I contact businesses explaining there is a brand new Free SMS service available and then book an appointment to see them so I can set it up for them. I then sell hem on the idea in the meeting of having a mobile website and other services etc. Not many people know about this new free service and I was going to openly share it but after reading thru this BSO I might bring one out myself next week, of course I will share here first, saying that you may already know about this free unlimited sms service already?

Ok -- here's my input. Mobilizer doesn't give a true example of what a site looks like on a mobile device. I have access to check with both a 4G Android and a 4G Iphone. I also have mobilizer and it looks nothing like what I see on either phone. That said:

If this works so well why is she using an example of a site that she didn't manage to get to use her services! PLEASE! I went to the wedding site and it has not been optimized. How can she use an example of someone that hasn't used her services. I'd like to buy form someone who showed me a before and after the used my services.

Good idea maybe, but presented very poorly because I now wouldn't trust my time to even try it. And, I'd really like to have had it work!
