For all those who can't install this software:

1. Unzip the .zip file and locate the “libs” sub-folder containing the xampplite folder.
2. Drag the xampplite folder to your c:\ hard drive.
3. Double-click the DesktopServer program icon from within your c:\xampplite
4. Click “Yes” to the “User Account Control” prompt if it appears.

ive used it successfully so far and uploaded sites.

but is anyone getting the error when trying to upload a site

"error 502 - connection did not complete due to HTTP error #404"

because i keep getting that error message when trying to upload a site, and ive tried it with a few sites.

I guess someone must have an updated version? But for now, create a website with a lower version of WordPress and then update to version 4,.6 within the theme.

BUMP - DesktopServer V.3.8.3 Release!

im having very serious issues with desktopserver /and phpmyadmin/ wordpress themes and using them on desktopserver, / files corrupted on pc / files corrupted within phpmyadmin (on server) im having a nightmare trying to find out wheat the problem is, wether its mysql corruption, a virus, or desktopserver not being updated, but i get serious errors with some wordpress themes or child themes, but not others, so its very DIFFICULT trying to find out what the cause is when there are so many issues, i.e. putting prefixes on the phpmyadmin "wp users" files, not recognizing the registed email address that a domain has - the list is endless - has anyone else had these issues ?

Thank you for the share I was looking for a newer version this one is over 100 meg but one i found in 605.63 MB any one any ideas the one i found was Premium v3.8.0.2046
