Sounds interesting but you might want to be careful with this one if you don't know what you're doing you might find yourself working with a demon spirit and find yourself in a World of pain.

Just sayin... i.e. Crows on the cover, the author calls himself "Damon aka shrt for Demon".

@Batmans: You know, you're absolutely right. I should have place some kind of caveat with this share.

I actually first downloaded one of these books from a share by my friend StillStanding. I found the others in the series in my searches.

At first, I didn't think it was the role of the sharer to issue a warning (since I am not the author and didn't actually plan to use the information in the book personally). Now, however, I feel quite differently; I strongly agree with you. I'll tell you why in just a moment...

I think with the popularization of the vampire and sorcery/wizard books and movies, this genre has received a lot of interest; especially among tweens and teens ... which is scary in and of itself.

For anyone reading this, I will say here, you should always ... ALWAYS... proceed with caution (especially if you have no prior knowledge of this type of information). If it goes against your spiritual beliefs, personal convictions, etc., by all means, pass up on this type of thing.

Sometimes, something is not worth the ultimate price you have to pay. I'll just leave it at that.

However, let me tell you a brief personal story. This isn't to scare anyone but if it does, that just means this share isn't for you!

Just the other night, while downloading all this guys series, I quickly looked over the Introduction to one of these books (not this particular one; one about wealth) and when it came to the chant he suggested, I followed his simple instructions ...

I said it out loud.

Later that same night, I had a strange dream. Nothing too horrible but unsettling enough that I know this isn't my cup-o-tea.

I was in a dark room, crawling quickly on my hands-and-knees behind someone (I never saw who it was) wearing a black robe; similar to one a priest in some religions would wear. I don't know why but I felt the person was very tall but I don't know how I felt this way because all I could see were the feet (the back of black shoes and the hem of the black robe, moving quickly as "he" walked ahead of me).

At some point, I got chills throughout my body and I felt I shouldn't be following this person, not knowing where I would end up. The funny thing, though, is it was in the familiar environment of my home (the hallway and living room).

When I woke up, I was a bit relieved to know it had been a dream. Now, some may say this was purely because I'd read the chant and was likely expecting that something would happen.

Not really ...

But happen it did. And I'll tell you what ... I'll never read one of those chants again. This dream was so real ... it was too much; so much, the dream lingered in my mind those 2 days. It bothered me yet I couldn't get myself to tell my sister when we spoke by phone but the more I thought about it, it was highly symbolic.

Crystal clear, in fact.

I was "in the dark" following behind something I knew absolutely nothing about (I never saw the "person's" identity) and the fact that I felt chills throughout my body suggested a warning to turn around and go back.

That's when I was jarred awake.

Now, I'm not one to judge others. I have a "To each, his (or her) own" attitude. But after that experience, I know without the shred of a doubt, that this type of practice just isn't my thing.

I'm not saying it's bad or good. Just not for me.

If reading my personal story upsets you, take it as a warning.

Whatever those chants are; they work. I only skimmed through ONE of them and read it out loud --- just to practice the sounds.

And the resulting dream was enough to scare the Dickens out of me (enough to be concerned that I may have a recurring dream).

But what scares me even more is that the chants are so doggone easy to do!!! A child can mimick these sounds!!

So if you're into this, don't be surprised (not IF but) WHEN you get results. I don't know if the results you get will be what you asked for. Or if you will ultimately be on the hook (no pun intended) for the end result.

If you're like me, and thought "No harm, no foul" for just reading one of the chants to get the hang of it, take my advice and STEER CLEAR. Let this be my attempt at warning you. This share is not intended for anyone. Know what you're getting into!

Again, I shared it simply for those who choose to download.

Both (Batmans and The Saint) are absolutely correct in saying I should have added some kind of warning with this share. If I had not had such a profound personal experience, I may have taken offense at the suggestion but I am here to do just that.

Since after the dream, I wrestled with myself and wondered if I'd done the right thing by sharing this, it's too late. It's done.

Just a wee bit to add to your observations and conclusion from my own life:
Dream time is merely another life or reality - whatever words suit - it is not 'just a dream'.

Adding largely now to all the above...
Metaphysical learning has its requirements, which may not be avoided - except momentarily and at great peril to the mistaken learner.

As to 'magick', it is merely disguised metaphysics and any results greatly depend upon the mindful discipline of the practitioner.

Example:
I am acquainted with an avid student of magick who is part of a larger group that meets every now and then.
The studies have been ongoing for most of a decade by now.
Have these folks gotten any notable results ??
Not that I am aware of - they just conduct themselves like most religious folks and do alot of what I would likely refer to as 'praying' - with equally vague real-world results.
(I have been invited over and over to join them, but have zero interest in any religious stuff.)

All that having been said - I will add last of all that if one embraces 'the dark arts' without exercising discernment beforehand - the price paid may be very steep as well as painful.

Layna61524, after reading your experiences I can sense your spirit is good-natured, and I certainly understand it's in the spirit of sharing. Thank you for warning members, although a bit surprised this type of information is being shared openly because of the damage that can be done to the reader.

@C.S.W.: Thank you for sharing your wisdom. I believe that what I experienced was quite unusual and I agree that "dark arts" are best left to the trained practitioner. Again, I have never been "into" that type of thing and perhaps after reading all the positive comments on this fellow's blog from people who were gung-ho that they're getting what they want, I half-way expected something to happen. I dunno. But without chastising anyone who is into it, I just wish them well. No more for me.

@smithnowt: I can understand your position on religion (I don't agree with it) but I believe C.S.W. has a right to espouse his beliefs on the thread ... just as you do. I say this as a friend; I truly am a "to each his or her own" personality. With all due respect, we don't all have to agree to be civil. There is ancient wisdom that predates ALL religions to be found if one seeks it out.
For instance, one may find very much about Universal Law if one desires it.

In that same realm there are ways to expose what are merely 'beliefs' vs. that which can only be referred to in words as 'knowing' - and most folks alive today are not ready to comprehend the vast differences between those 2 concepts.

In a more comprehensible vein I would urge anyone interested to look into how some wise and wordy folks have tried explaining how the word 'belief' or its various conjugations can be broken down to 'be' + 'lie' - it is a very interesting study IMO.

As to my response above, given that this is essentially a w...z forum of a slightly different shade, to see anyone coming along to post like an evangelical preacher seems very much out of place - kind of like the LDS'ers coming to my door - it is just not a fitting thing to do given the setting.

There are FAR too many folks who ONLY see any study of Pagan, Wiccan, or Magickal ideas as being 100% synonymous with 'devil worship' - which could not be further from what most such folks aspire to.

The opening statement of the Wiccan Rede:

If you play with fire you could get burned badly. You could also use fire to cook a fantastic meal or heat your freezing cold body in the dead of a winter's night... and it could also burn down your house with you in it!!
