Below you will find a list of useful sites and programs that may help you with your site design, content, and other such things on-site, as well as programs and resources for general activities you perform throughout your IM workday.


things to note:

* there are programs on some sites. download at your own risk. i have downloaded some but not all of these programs so please take caution. I don't have time to do virus total for 30+ programs

* some of these things you already have seen. someone else hasn't though. please don't complain if i shared something known to most. never know who needs it


* some are on first page of google, but i've searched for hours before finding what i needed because even one letter off on google won't get you what you want at times. so please don't bash for stuff on first page of google.


* I got a bunch of these from a similar post on wicked fire, so not going to take credit for all links. just made the ones from there a bit more compact and tried to organize it as well.

xmarks - bookmark synchronizer, nice for research too (smarter search feature)

ghostery - deactivates google analytics and other trackers - so your own visits dont show up in analytics

betterprivacy - takes care of flash cookies

pencil - scatching software for creating wireframes

scrapbook - really cool bookmark addon that saves the site you've bookmarked locally, you can edit it with comments, mark text, etc
