You already get the idea of a Free Trial so why not do a 1 month trial for the folks here at BBHF. This way it will get a fair test and you will likely get some great testimonials. No need to allow on multiple machines. If you can't do a test on one machine, you're in the wrong business.

Id love to help you guys but I cant set up a 1 month trial. To support trials I had to code in a way to make them on the license server. One part of which is a cron job that deletes the trials in sql after 48hrs. So, while I say its 24hrs on site I give a extra day to reduce errors. The 48hr one deletes them all not matter what if time is expired. To offer a longer trial that would mean setting up a 3rd license system with a different cron length. Which is entirely too much trouble for what it is worth.

The trial is not supposed to be something you can exploit and get all the data you can as fast as you can. If I did that no one would bother buying the program. I already have to fight people trying to exploit the 1 day trial using multiple emails. A one month trial would be business suicide. By offering a 1-2 day trial you have plenty of time to put in a keyword and location and see that the program actually outputs results and works on your computer. Having 2 days of "yup this works like he said" and 1 month of "yup still works like he said" is exactly the same. The only difference is the amount of data you can get in one day and the amount you can get in one month.

One month of data can be tens of thousands of results if run properly. I feel that it has to at least be worth $10 for you to get so much data.

As for the single payment you guys missed out sorry. The program used to be a single payment years and years ago but you cannot bring in enough new customers to offset the amount of work it takes keeping the program going. If I had stayed like that the program wouldn't exist today. The numbers are just not there. By having it as a subscription it allows me not to have to worry about if I can drum up enough new customers every week to pay rent. At some point new business will slow or run out and no one wants that. Since it is a sketchy scraping program I am not allowed to advertise most everywhere and even forms like WarriorForum don't allow scraper posts.

The other requests are just as hard to do. If I don't limit to 2 computers then you could share the license around or install on tons of computers. I have customers that run small call centers off my software and they needed to buy multiple licenses. 99% of sane software creators have to impose a limit on activations. Not just for anti-piracy but also because you loose a ton of money by letting them use the program all they want. I cant let someone buy a single license and then install on an entire office building. The program at retail is only $10 per month and allows 2 installs. That is $5 per machine per month! We are talking the price of a fancy coffee here. How can I possibly go cheaper than that?

I can offer a discount but that is about it. Last time this same thing came up was 2015 and I offered a discount then as well and a few people hit me up via email about it. See post. I can knock down the price a few bucks on the 6 month subscription. I can also offer you a single $9.99 monthly payment if you don't want a full 6 month commitment or cant afford it. You are more than welcome to purchase the single month then 10 seconds later cancel the re-bill with PayPal. At the end of your month your license will just be auto deleted. Finally I accept BitCoins as well if that helps at all.

I am open to feedback and I really appreciate the interest in the program here, it means I must be doing something right at least. I hope you guys can also see by what I said how things need to make logical business sense for me as well. I already struggle with pricing as is and I have had far too many customers tell me my prices should be higher as well. $9.99 for 2 installs, $5 per install per month really seems stupidly low as is.

gmb? Google Maps Beta? The program still works with google maps no worries. If they change things on us ill get on trying to get it fixed again.

Funny enough years ago when we still had google plus the google maps scraper was way faster than it is now. Each thread could visit a single business detail page. Then they launched what they have now and things went to hell. It took me 2 weeks to come up with a solution. Google did some serious updates then. Now all data is loaded dynamically with Ajax and ONLY when you click to open each listing. This forced us to have to do searches in a single browser and then forced us to be single threaded as we are required to click each listing one by one. It is a slow process to say the least but if you want Google Maps we have to play by their rules. With how the program works now with google maps I doubt it can break as badly again. We use selenium now to use Google Chrome and pretty much simulate a human user just manually clicking though the result pages. A automated copy and paste VA.

Not to turn you off to the program or anything, other sites with business listing pages are still multi-threaded and much faster.
