I don't need to be stepped through a bunch of clicks to find a contact number or be told platitudes. So I was hoping to be convinced by this course that this was going to change the way I looked at FB, but it hasn't and I wasn't. The pricing looked totally out of whack with what I know UK small businesses would spend on marketing (those that do) - maybe US small businesses look at this differently? But not a word about the terrible reputation that FB is gathering that should make marketers think twice about investing time and money on a platform that is facing rapidly increasing scrutiny and negativity.
- As for the content, it seems honest enough and I have no reason to doubt the product owners' sincerity. Many of the videos have a speed control (definitely needed), but some don't and it ... is .. so ... tedious ... to ... listen ... to .. it ... all.. Time is money, right? So having to spend half a morning wading through all this to come to the conclusion that it probably won't work for me isn't great. But that's also the benefit of BBHF - thank you to the OP!

I tried to download the videos myself. If Alag18 or somebody would tell me how they accomplished it, I would appreciate it. I tried all the methods and extensions I knew. Normally I don't have a problem with vimeo videos.

I share in a portion of your concern about small businesses investing in a FB bot. This is one of the reasons I actually invested in bot platforms that support website chatbots, FB, Whatsapp, etc... instead of just FB.

Plus, if a business isn't actively using FB, then it is hard to sell them on the value of FB and the FB messenger bot.

As long as you can drive sales for a business, they don't care what you use!

The whole FB confidentially thing is such a hoax. Facebook bought a lot of data from sites like Axiom, etc, who have collecting data from all types of places for years. They are not the only one. I think that fiasco is just to keep the public is a constant state of anxiety and fear like the multitude of narratives the push to us daily.

I share you skepticism. In fact, this reminds me a lot of SMS marketing... a quick way to irritate a potential lead by violating boundaries and sending an unsolicited automated commercial message in a very personal medium. Whenever there are new channels, someone is going to come up with a way to use them for spam.
