Getting Started: Finding a niche
Assuming you
already understand the basic concept of how DollarUpload works, you will
now need to find a niche/product to start getting downloads off. Keep
in mind, you will need to find something that lots of people would do
anything to get, otherwise you wont get any downloads because
DollarUpload surveys ARE hard to complete. Here are some ideas to get
you started with:
- game hacks (e.g. CSS aimbots or wallhacks etc)
- game beta keygens
- game cracks (e.g. COD)
- software keygens
- cracked software
- movie passes
DO NOT UPLOAD THESE THINGS:
- p0rn (insta ban - this includes fakes and passes)
- copyrighted content (e.g. whole movies, music)
DO NOT USE THESE METHODS:

copying other people, just because they earn a lot (this is one of the
main reasons why top earners are now hidden xD). This includes copying
other people's videos, files, niches, sites, and ideas.

How to find the hottest niches:
Step
into the shoes of a prospective downloader for a moment, and imagine
what what would make that downloader WANT to try finish the survey (or
buy a premium account) no matter the cost involved (cell offers are so
d*** expensive and difficult to finish xD).
Good examples:
A new twilight movie (or harry potter movie, or any other popular movies), pre-release, or leak.
A hot new game crack, pre-release, or leak (e.g. COD 7 - Black ops)
A desperately amazing piece of software that has never been cracked before (e.g. XRumer, SEnuke, Tube Detonator, etc.)
Keep in mind the files you upload don't have to be real, even though if it WAS real, you would do better in the long term.

Expanding
Movies:
If you want to do something about movies, here's a good way of doing it so you don't get banned:
1. Zip up your movie and password protect your ZIP file
2. Put the password in a text file
3. Upload the text file to dollarupload
4. Upload the movie to somewhere like mediafire
You could create a whole website dedicated to movies, but you will need to SEO it etc.

Software (cracks/keygens)
This
niche is already heavily saturated, but you can score big by finding
UNIQUE things that haven't come out yet. Fake content is VERY popular,
as it is easy to obtain, doesn't have to work, and will most likely
attract a lot of attention because the real working content has not come
out yet. Fake keygens can be bought in the DU marketplace at very cheap
prices. If you know some VB etc, then you could make your own.

MASK YOUR DOLLARUPLOAD LINKS
dollarupload
is slowly getting a bad reputation for annoying surveys and fake
content, so you should ALWAYS mask your links. Plus, you can also get
paid when people click your links on certain sites (with an intermission
ad in between)

2. Enter your DU download link into the shrink-tool text bar field
3. Press Shrink! to shrink the link into one that looks like http://a d f .l y links were NOT allowed here!!!/21vy (this link goes to google)

5. Spread your >>>[[[Reported by Members as URL Shortener! Post the actual link!]]]<<< link as you would normally spread your DU download link, and get paid when people click on the link!

ADVANCED MASKING
The
best way to mask your DU download links would be to put it on your
website, then spread the link of your website around instead (you can
also do the usual a d f .l y links were NOT allowed here!!!/>>>[[[Reported by Members as URL Shortener! Post the actual link!]]]<<< masking with your site etc.). This is
much more professional, PLUS, it's harder for ShareCrabbers to copy your
stuff. Most youtube videos are stolen by people who use a bot to search
out all videos related to a certain topic containing dollarupload
links.

Spreading and getting traffic
This
is really the most important part of getting downloads. Without
traffic, you will never earn, no matter how good your content is.

Youtube:
Youtube
is probably the best way to get traffic to your files. It receives
millions of hits a day, and targeted audience are bound to find their
way to your videos if you have a high ranked youtube video. My favorite
software for creating videos is CAMTASIA.

Torrents:
1. ZIP up your file, and password protect the zip.
2. Put the password in a text file, and upload the text file to dollarupload
3. Create a torrent for your zipped file and submit it to a torrent tracker (like piratebay)

Torrents
is one of the easiest way to spread your files. With good software for
download, you could possibly receive hundreds of downloads a day. Once
someone sees the file in your ZIP, they are more willing to download the
password for it.

Creating your own websites:
This is
probably the best possible method for more advanced users to spread
their download links. With a properly SEOed site, you could receive
thousands of visitors a day, which means hundreds of potential
downloaders.

Social sites:
Websites like FaceBook and
Myspace are perfect for VIRALLY spreading your download links. FMBL
codes can be easily bought everywhere Viral sites mean when a user wants
to download your file, s/he has to spread the links to all their
friends first.

Forums:
1. Go to http://www.big-boards.com
2. Find a relevant forum with a good rank
3. Spread your download links in relevant threads (check the rules to make sure DollarUpload links are not banned)
4.
Contact a member with heaps of posts and good reputation, and get them
to put your download link in their SIGNATURE at a suitable price (e.g.
$10/month)

Protecting your stuff.
This is a very, very,
very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very,
very, important topic that should NEVER be overlooked. Imagine this. You
spend HOURS searching for that perfect hot niche. The downloads are
finally rolling in, you're getting massive profits. Suddenly, this n00b
comes out of nowhere and steals all your ideas and files. On top of
that, (in a youtube scenario), the guy flags your video and gets it
taken down. BAM, all your work down a hole, $0/day earnings again. You
would be VERY pissed. And yes, it has happened to me. So how do you
protect yourself against this sort of thing?

1. WATERMARK YOUR VIDEOS. Simply put this message (using camtasia):
"Only
download from this link: [link that will eventually reach ur DU
download link] [insert username here]" and anyone who copies your videos
will be advertising for you

2. Use a different names for promoting your stuff, du main site, and forum nickname.

3. DONT BRAG

some ideas of what and how to promote. I will be (frequently) updating
