What an awesome share NC! I got so many ideas for local businesses while reading this.
I even wrote an ad and asked a local business owner, what he thought and he just loved it! He is going to run it. Peter Sun talks about the surveys, it would be nice if the gurus gave credit where they got the ideas :( Reps given :) Do you have any more of his products? Apart from the ones on the forum. |

The truth starts coming out. And the truth that night was how to squeeze as much cash out of the rabid internet marketing niche as possible. Their recipe is basically this: - Pounce on noobs as fast as possible because they don't know anything about marketing and are easy quick cash - Rehash old content (noobs again) - Fatten up simple content and ebooks into huge courses. Turn simple articles and posts into huge video packages - Make simple steps complex to keep prospects confused and wanting more - Create as many funnels and "tripwires" (what an idiotic term) as possible to catch people and hammer them with advertising until they cry or buy or both. - Rinse and repeat over every new gimmick that pops up and for every new type of advertising method/site like facebook, pinterest, instagram etc. Launch after endless launch. It's all about volume over quality and everything else is 2nd. Zero talk of customer value, of building REAL relationships and becoming friends with your customers, zero concept of customer service, zero talk of building real wealth out of value. It was pathetic. And some of these guys there were in the popular IM guru crowd. Their courses are all over BBHF. Honestly... most of these guys are hacks. If they didn't have a launch every few months, their businesses would dry up and vanish. If they didn't have noobs to constantly target, they'd be done. He said he can't remember the last time he had so many people come in and buy. What he did was he used the copy on a black board which he put on a busy high street with arrows showing where his store was. He followed my instructions to the letter, which I felt was funny because he just trusted my words after he read the copy and asked what he needed to do to. I gave him the copy and instructions.
