[GET] HOW TO DOWNLOAD A MULTI-GIG SIZE COURSE FILE USING INFO-HASH ALONE
HOW TO DOWNLOAD A MULTI-GIGABYTE SIZED COURSE TORRENT FILE USING JUST THE INFO-HASH ![]() ==========
LAYNA'S DISCLAIMER: I've never done what I'm posting instructions for here. With that out of the way, I need for anyone accustomed to using torrents (who know how to use an info-hash or magnet link) to post their experiences to add value to what I'm trying to do. I have no need to download using the info-hash personally because I have a paid subscription to a torrent only download site I can get the files from directly. However, I was recently asked via PM to share Copy Slacker by Ben Settle. I lost those files in a computer crash but had access through one of my lifetime access accounts. I wanted to help the requestor but the files total over 3 gigs in size! The only way I knew to help (if this works!) is to suggest a good bittorrent client and provide instructions I found elsewhere on how to download a torrent file using just the info-hash (which I could provide). So if you want to play along, I've included the instructions below. Let me know your results. ========== The first thing I do when I'm asked for something is to check the forum because oftentimes, people either overlook or don't know how to search and the link they want is hidden in plain sight. Unless it's in a restricted area of the forum (like VIP) I send it to them via PM. In this case, all the Ben Settle Copy Slacker links I found were as dead as a door nail. I found some premium links on a couple of the free course download sites I've posted about but, alas, they were all dead when I tried to convert them using Deepbrid. I found a torrent download that works. I didn't want to put that kind of storage burden on my already packed Mega account just to honor someone's request for help. Still, I wanted to try and help. The only way I can think to share a torrent (assuming the person I'm sharing with doesn't use torrent files) is to suggest the easiest torrent client they can download and use and provide them with the info-hash since they also don't have access the place I get my direct links from. I use the Vuze Leap bittorrent client because it works great for my needs but you can use whatever works best for you. PLEASE DECIDE WHICH TORRENT CLIENT YOU WANT AND IF IT ISN'T ALREADY DOWNLOADED AND INSTALLED ON YOUR COMPUTER ... DO THAT NOW. Instructions below will require you to have your bittorrent client downloaded, installed and open. Vuze Leap is lightweight, easy to use and is pretty much plug-and-play (the default settings work just fine). It's fairly fast, too! In the time it is taking me to type this message, my download of this course (over 3 gigs, mind you) is almost 80% complete! So, if you want ease of use and don't care to fiddle around with settings, grab Vuze and let's get started. GET VUZE LEAP FREE HERE: Magic Button : Be sure to install the correct version for your operating system. I've only read about and saw YouTube videos suggesting that you can download a torrent file using the info-hash only. I've also read conflicting reports about how you're supposed to do it. Here is more information about the item you requested: COURSE DETAILS: Ben Settle - Copy Slacker Number of Files - 43 Course Size - 3.13 Gigabytes Category: Internet Marketing Courses How to Download Torrents Using Info Hash Code or Magnet Link - YouTube Video: Magic Button : There are other YouTube videos with similar information. Do a search and you may find another one that is more useful. If that video isn't helpful, please see "lovetour's" post dated January 11, 2013 here: Magic Button : Supposedly, here is how it works: STEP 1: In a text editor like Notepad or Wordpad, type this: Magic Button : STEP 2: Find the course you want and grab the Info Hash from the torrent file. Info hash is a long string of alpha-numeric (alphabets and numerals) code. To grab the code, highlight it with your mouse, right-click and select COPY. STEP 3: Go back to your text editor and paste that info hash code next to the magnet link. The torrent info hash for Ben Settle's Copy Slacker is this: Magic Button : So putting the two together, this is what you should now have in your text document: Magic Button : STEP 4: Copy that long string and then open your installed torrent client. Next, open your bittorrent client. I'll use the Vuze Leap interface as an example since that what I have ... Go to File --> Open --> URL, Torrent or Hash You will see a pop-up window where you can paste the entire content of your code (see image below): ![]() STEP 5: Hit the OK button and your download should begin. Give it time, as most torrents are large files and even at high transfer speeds, it isn't a quick download. When the transfer completes, double-click the file to make sure the content is there. You can then transfer the files elsewhere on your computer in appropriately named folders. If you don't get the results you want, please check out any of the free course download sites I've been posting about recently. You can do a search for my username in the SEARCH POSTS area on the forum to see those shares. I wish I could do more to help but hopefully, this will work. Give it a try. If you're seeing this post anywhere other than bestblackhatforum.com or being shared by anyone other than Laynja61524, then that's where/who THEY TOOK IT FROM! ![]() Layna61524 |

RE: [GET] HOW TO DOWNLOAD A MULTI-GIG SIZE COURSE FILE USING INFO-HASH ALONE
You're both welcome and thanks for the posts.
Keep in mind, I'm not sure if this will work. If I can find some time in between posting new shares, I may test this method myself. I don't need it but wanted to post this for those who do. By the way, if you're wondering where to get the info-hash code, it's only available where torrent files are posted. So you can search for courses in Google or DuckDuckGo using the name of a course and adding the keyword torrent (or torrent download). You can also use sites like The Pirate Bay where a lot of the downloads are torrents. I just did a keyword search using Ben Settle and torrent download and got quite a few Pirate Bay links, so it seems you could end up there, anyway. The Pirate Bay will nag you to death with warnings about using a VPN (I don't use it much because of the flashing screens that won't let you search if you don't use a VPN). I personally find PB very limited and would just as easily search for torrent files. Some of the free course download sites I posted about have torrent links, too. I know that kraftymarketingprofits does. You may want to start there. Here is a link to a Udemy course on Mastering the Art of Body Language to Boost Your Confidence. I can't vouch if the link still works but I found this at site similar to (it looks just like) The Pirate Bay: ANOTHER TORRENT SITE: BAY UNLOCKER Magic Button : Here's what you'll see on that site: ![]() And you can see the info-hash code at the end of the right column. If you find a torrent file site or forum you like, use a search engine like SimilarSites.com. Type in your favorite site URL and it will find you others with similar content. When you find an info-hash code, be sure to grab it all or you will get errors. PROTECT YOURSELF AND YOUR COMPUTER: I forgot to say it in the OP but you should be very mindful of what you're clicking on at unfamiliar sites and using torrent and B-H files, in general. Keep your A-V program updated and running in real-time to thwart any sneaky attempts to exploit your system. Most likely, you know what you're doing (and you'll be just fine) but I felt the need to nag you with this reminder. Like I said, I have access to direct torrent links to download (I may have used this info-hash method only once and I believe I posted somewhere on this forum about it) but I'm throwing this information out there for anyone who wanted to know if they can download a torrent file without having the direct link but just the info-hash. I'm hoping that someone will report back here whether this method actually worked for them. ![]() for reading! Layna61524 |
