I just installed it a domain but nothing changed what could i be doing wrong?

You need to import the dummy data and setup files included.

I'm not sure what are the 'dummy data and setup files' - pretty sure I've uploaded/imported everything. Basically 2 blank magazine themes and also the rss ticker needs a license number.

Did you follow the set up instructions? In addition to installing Wordpress you need to import a database and change some config files. I just did mine and it works like a charm.... topline.news

You have my sympathy. If you've never installed Wordpress before, I can't imagine pulling this one off as a first-time project.

I've installed WP hundreds of times over the last decade (remember the old blue 2.x version? AARGH!) and I've also had to use the search/replace plugin and similar before. It rarely works 100% even when you know what you're doing and are familiar with MySQL admin tools, etc.

What I can't understand is anyone buying (although we didn't) a copied site and expecting to get it working anytime soon using some sketchy txt document 'explaining' to the buyer how to set it up on another domain. SMH...
