This is my personal experience I started on Fiverr 8 months back but failed to sell then again 3 months back after recieveing a tip from bbhf member I went back to fiverr again and this time I used Buyer request, guess what I started making sales and once I had few sales it started snow balling without any effort from me...

Regarding Online status - It does help as most of my clients prefer to discuss with me before ordering and once they see me online they go ahead and initiate conversation

Blog Commenting- I haven't used this but gonna try now
