kontiki mentioned in one of the REQ threads above that all but one of the folders from a shared Mega download are empty and wondered if he's the only one experiencing this issue.

No, you're not alone. Here is a tell-tale sign that there is no content in a folder:

Many of the free file download sites online share the same files, so if most of the content is missing from one course, chances are finding a link for that course on another free site will likely yield the same results.

HERE'S THE HONEST-TO-GOODNESS TRUTH

I'm going to share the download for this course from a site I have access to but what it all boils down to is this: You're going to have to put up a few dollars to get your own accounts if you want high-level downloads. I'm talking about a paid access account to guru course files and a debrid tool to convert premium links. The days are counting down to the time you will find people sharing files to huge downloads like this one.

It takes less than 10 seconds (and even less mind or muscle) to type a "please re-up" post. The grunt work is done by whomever helps to provide those downloads.

Even when sharing an existing download link, that link has to be found somewhere and that usually takes time.

In the past, I have generously shared links like the ones I am posting below in private messages with a small number of people on BBHF. I don't want to post them widely because people pay for access to those links --- and you should, too. While I want to help, there is only so much you can do for people who simply refuse to come out of pocket for anything --- even the most inexpensive stuff.

What I've come to see is that, no matter how much you GIVE some people, they always want more. A few come to expect you to be their never-ending source.

Despite my continually telling them how to get their own account so they can continue to get the downloads they wanted, I always got a creative excuse in return. Or that they could not afford a $25 expense. Yet, the requests kept coming --- some in the form of lengthy lists of links.

Well, that "got old" pretty quickly, so I had no choice but to be blunt and tell them that their gravy train had come to its final stop. I probably lost a few "forum friends" that way but, oh well... I got my point across.
