Quick update, fwiw...
I was just taking a look at the FE theme installation video,
and our buddy Luther was showing how you needed to install a base
WP Theme before you installed the child theme which is what we'll use for this.

The base theme is called 'LayersWP,' and it's not included in the download we have.
A quick search helped me find it, so I'd like to share the resource for you to get it, too...

We all know that Luther is full of it. I just like to know how his latest BSO is different from all the rest.

JMO it is different in that he used find/replace in word to replace "day care" with "handyman" then with "law firm" and so forth <big evil grin>

He gets some theme - maybe cuts a deal or something - and may throw in some graphics which are usually too specific and not that usable. His idea is that anyone can simply email his letter to a niche and sell these websites and various "other" services.

In the real world - clients want to see portfolio, check you out, testimonials, even call other clients
In the real world - as I stated before day care is a crazy niche, not worth the time, I think Luther just found a cute kids theme.
IMHO Law firms are also not that easy if you are new at this...hard to reach...partners...decisions decisions. Law firms are also very much limited in what they can say and do by the state bar
You really can't "write it for them">> they have to send you approved content to copy paste

Realistically the "Handyman" idea is more do-able - you talk to a guy who makes the decisions, if he is ready and you present compelling reasons you have a chance at a sale.
Much of what Luther "teaches" is so generic...he also throws a lot of ideas out there -
his claim of "effortless" is just silly. None of this is effortless IMHO
