You can't DO NOTHING and bank 6k. And the 6k he banked is gross sales; it does not account for purchasing the products, shipping materials, shipping the products, and small fees like the FBA account/Profit Bandit/Rank Informer subscriptions. Finding items just in your local stores as you shop will not get you anywhere close to 6k in a month gross or otherwise. Most items you find will only get you about $2-4 profit per item so not even half of that 6k will be profit--more like a third.

That said, the guy puts out good courses. He's a great teacher and at least teaches what he has tried and doing so if retail arbitrage is something you are really interested in and want a good headstart in one place, this course is aces. Otherwise, just google how to get started with FBA or something like that and find the many blogs of people doing this for a living or part time income and you can piece the info together more or less.

I have yet to read this course.

From my own personal experience, I went full time during the first 3 weeks of December 2014 and got my business set up as an LLC. All licenses including resale permit are in place. Business bank account and bookkeeping in place also.

Most of my items I put up for sale on Amazon do generate 50% or better in profit after Amazon fees. Just a bare handful are close to 30-40% profit. I have not lost money on any of my products that I buy from local stores. It helps that I applied for and got into health, beauty, and grocery. Those really help my bottom line. Applying for 10 more Amazon categories are in the works.

In the last 30 days I sold nearly $7,500 in gross sales of products. My last 2 week payout was over $2,500 deposited into my bank account. The next one which will be released after the 29th of this month will be nearly $1,700. January will be my first full month as a full time Amazon seller. Not too bad at all. I'm ramping it up with my own private label products, also in the works.

It takes work and some money to do this business. It's simple but it's not something you can just sit on your ass and doing nothing.

Can you give an example of an item that generated 50% or better profit? I find the opposite is true for me (though I have not applied for Grocery and Health and Beauty despite knowing these are hot categories); most of the time is about 35% profit and a handful of times are 50-55% profit. I know I need to get into those other categories, but don't do this full time or hardly part time myself; I will send in only 5 or 6 shipments a week of about 60-70 items across about half mskus. How much inventory are you shipping in? I like this as a hobby, but my girlfriend is catching on to like it as she likes to shop, ha.

It does take a lot of work. Don't believe the do nothing part, but you CAN make money with FBA and arbitrage.

A kitchen item I sold 4 times sells for $144.61, give or take a few dollars because prices are fluid on Amazon. Fees with FBA is $29.01. Cost to ship is $2.40. It cost me $24.99. Profit: $88.21.

Another item I sell costs me 99 cents per unit. It sells very well with its low rank at $15.59 each. FBA is $6.09. Shipping is 78 cents. Profit: $7.73.

A particular baby formula sells for $22. Fees are $6.66. Shipping is 48 cents. Cost per unit is $4. Profit $10.86

I just sold a teddy bear yesterday for $25.99. Fees are $7.26. Shipping .54. My cost per unit is $8.99. Profit $9.20

Acne face cream is also $24.99. Fees $7.11. Shipping is 44 cents. cost per unit is $5. Profit $12.44

I have shipping fees set on the high side on my app. Shipping to amazon using their account is way cheaper than shipping it with your own.

I just sent in my latest shipment today with profits of nearly $850
