RE:
Thanks for the share, I was just playing and reading up on this. The last version was 4.04 back in December. There is no support since then and the latest version of WP does not work with this. So you will need to test with a site that you have not updated. I'm sure we all have those :)

Also the plugin is very load heavy. So you have to export the site as html ... a feature of the plugin. And load that on a subdomain.

The problem with all this slowing down your site is you really need an old WP version on it's own domain and have this plugin by itself. So you would want to clean an old domain that you have not updated WP.

I've been using Jason's theme for a while. It's limited in what you can do as a theme and getting old but I don't see much else out there. You can't do a background with Jason's which this one seems to do. There are other things I have tried with Jason's too but it's a pain.

This might produce some nice sites after you go through all these things I mentioned. And it seems to have a learning curve depending on your background.

I've looked at most every tool out there. I find most of the tools are limited as either all "flash" and little function or functional buy ugly. I keep trying to modify Jason's theme for my clients and demos but I'm starting to think all this customization just leads to more problems with the client. Just keep it simple with limited options.

If someone were to ask me what is the best mobile builder out there ...I would say "that's a good question". I'm starting to think it starts with a good wordpress mobile theme that has a whole lot of options.

If anyone has a fav I'm curious. For now I think I'll keep working with Jason's, but thanks again for the share.

@supertramp

You mean Jason Fladliens theme pack? This is great!
Correct me if I'm wrong and you mean something else.

There is another theme with great mobile compatibility: JumpM0bi 1nspire. Also shared here on the Forum.

RE:
Yes that's the one.

I also found Instantwp which has several older versions of WP that you can use on your own desktop to emulate a hosted site. Then export the file as html and upload. So this solves the problem of having an old domain and version of wordpress.

I played around with the software on the desktop. There are a lot of options....this might have the most options of any builder. With that there is a lot to learn. I think if you mastered this you could turn out some great sites.

They should be working on how to convert this plugin into an executable file (.exe) to make things easier for their buyers. Just like M0bi1e m0nkey and M0bi1e sitE machine did to theirs.
