Thank you, Layna for this really nice presentation.

The issue that I have, over the many years of researching copy and Gary Halbert, is that most people focus on the man's sales letters and how he wrote them.

I would like to see the content of what was IN those sales letters, i.e. what came in the mail when people sent for this free infomation. Halbert made some really big claims over the years and the copy was mostly really great - but does anyone know of any sources of the actual info that was sent out by Halbert?

I'm not sure this helps --- maybe someone who is more mentally alert this time of night will chime in and address your question properly.

I'm also not sure there is a way to know exactly what he sent to his freebie seekers.

Is there a collection of any of these actual reply letters to show the results of what Halbert offered?

That would be the interesting part.

We as marketers can learn to write copy like his, but to deliver what everyday people want is another thing.

Hope this makes sense. I’ll try and look for more examples.

The site is easy to navigate and there is a lot of good stuff there! I hope I have answered your question when you asked for actual sales letters for what Halbert sent in his mailings.
