I can only ASSUME you mean that in the zippyshare link, the image of which I posted in my share to prove that the link is live/working ... shows a date of 20-01-2016. That is the UPLOADED DATE. So the person who decided to share this file uploaded it to zippy on that date. And the last person who downloaded the file at the time I did my screen-shot did so on 14-09-2020. That date, too, will change as more people use the link.

Neither of these dates have anything to do with the software but I can see where you may be thinking this software is outdated. Of course, I am trying to read your mind (and this may not be where you were headed) but your post made a statement --- it wasn't a question.

Yes, this software is from several years ago but that has no bearing on its functionality. Software developers update their products when there are bugs or other problems that require updates (ex: changes in platforms that the software is built on, for example). Not all software update regularly or sometimes, at all and that could mean they work well, as first created, and have all the enhancements they need to do what they're designed to do.

Of course, this all may change. Bluefx could be coming out with an update of this product while I'm still typing this response.

So IF you meant to ask whether I could find a more recent VERSION of this program, I couldn't. And I did the homework because I knew someone would post here asking for the shiny new version (whether or not it existed).

You can always go directly to the official site for a software to check the newest version or update status. So, here is the official BlueFX website for this product:

Near the bottom of that web page, you will see lots more detail about this software, including this (see: ***UPDATE VERSION 2.5 below):

So it seems this software was previously V2 (see the image) and V2.5 is the last/current update. Even now, in 2020.

I also did a little research while looking for additional templates and files for Bluefx and it appears this software has not been updated. And that isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Whenever you wonder about the current version of a software (update), always go directly to the official website and see which version is current. You can always search for an illegal download of it anywhere.

Do a Google search for the exact title of this Bluefx product, and add keywords like "current version" or "latest update" or even 2020. Then check the results. If there is a version of this later than 2.5, I haven't found it yet.

But then again ... maybe that wasn't the intent of your post.

If not, please edit your post and I will attempt to answer.
