I wouldn't go that far in scepticism. They have so many illustrations and whatnot over there, opting to mess with the original code would be easier if focused only on the scripts.

Once TigerWong posts his file we can verify the authenticity on the first link.

UPDATE: They do have edited .css file that writes their name after the theme name in the admin panel.

Changes are visible in the first lines of Changelog.txt and style.css.

i´m not sceptic :) but theses guys with websites want to make money too and they redirect traffic with hidden scripts etc. or send spam from your server etc. ...it´s always important to be carefull if you run this on your own server
