i am traveling through europe and some people are talking about a cool must have software. it is available for windows, mac os and even linux, the file size is smaller than you might expect as well. it is for a popular niche, video. with so many video formats, things can get confusing, some formats will not work with your device while some may work, but because you have a cheap device, it may freeze, or the video may start and just stop at a random time. thus it is always important to update the software you already have, and like many people, you may have several different video players on your device now, to help you play videos in all those endless different video formats.

you may already have a video converting software, or even more than one, since some only convert one video format and only one. or you have a hd video that will play on your pc and not work on another device. what to do? there is a video transcoder available i found in france and it is all the rage here, lol. it is called handbrake, it is easy to use and it even has advanced options. it can even rip a dvd and save it in any format you want. you can even convert the video into formats for specialty devices, cellphones, tablets and other devices. this software is free for now. it is a must have tool if you need to convert a video, or even rip a dvd to any device. believe me, unlike some of the junk shared here on the bbhf, this software is actually worth the price! handbrake is an essential tool to any video editor/producer's toolkit.

not only do i give you free must have software, you get a free review too, lol. now, if you live in greece, can i ask you a question? i just left greece, i always try to stop in greece on my way to europe. i look forward to the people, various locations and the food. some of the best lamb in the world, the best grapes while they are in season, just to name a few. my question is, was lamb out of season? i was looking forward to some excellent lamb chops at my favorite spot, but they had none, only lamb meatballs. the next day, at a restaurant with lamb in the name, they too had no lamb available. i know the economy is bad there, and has been for a while, another reason i visited , to spend some money and do my part to help a great country. but what happened to the lamb? that is the question, you can pm me with the answer.

fyi: this software has been in development for years, you may have tried a beta version before, but now, handbrake has officially launched with plenty of new features and most of the bugs have been fixed
