Try running ccleaner and jetclean, get shot of all your win restore points [do another BEFORE you run soft again!] and then restart PC, let us know if ok, if still not adding, try a very clean, unshared proxy or unplug you DSL router, leave for at LEAST 10mins and turn on again.
