Don't waste your time - this course sucks and the more I see of Jim Mack's stuff, the more I'm sure he's a complete hack.

Firstly, the main headline in the ad copy is a FLAT OUT LIE. The headline says (basically) that you can buy leads for $5, then sell 'em to auto shops for $50 each.

Then in the course, Jim Hack (what I call him) goes over these freebie ways to get leads (like posting on craigslist), then recommends looking up the CPC in SEMrush for the given KW, and selling for a little more than that. So if you're trying to get leads for auto repair in Cleveland, and the CPC for "auto repair Cleveland" is $7, sell 'em for like $12 or so.

Maybe there's one example where using his little method you could pull down $50 for a lead, but what a sham way to promote.

Oh, and then he recommends that your foot in the door service should be setting up all of a shop's social media profiles, followed up with a monthly posting / maintenance service. Gimme a break.

In some niches/industries, that makes sense. But do you *really* think your local tire shop or transmission repair place has ANY need for a Twitter account? Hell, FB won't even do most of these places any good.

Mack's stuff talks a good game, but always ends up coming up short, IMO.

I have paid for a few Jim Mack courses, and found a few more here ... did not watch all of those videos but read some of the PDFs. He is definitely one who is just cranking out courses for any local service he thinks will sell, and has plenty of "extras" to pile on, being the same course after course. Yet he does have his special areas of experience, and favorite methods that he shares (LinkedIn but not for this niche). Each new course pdf seems to be partly created fresh, so that is useful, and either still applies regardless of what year- or we see how things change (like using Press Releases, or GMB ranking). Some of the oto stuff is not especially helpful, yet some checklists, swipes, and graphics continue to be worthwhile.
